Lady Gaga on the cover of Fame While celebrities

talentless people like Lindsay Lohan are off poorly advising collections, Lady Gaga is actually trying to do some good with her fame, putting off her own inevitable range.

“At some point, I will [design a collection]. Right now, I’m more concerned with using my fame to promote young designers such as Gary Card, an artist who designed a piece I used on stage.”

When asked about why everyone is dying for her to do a line, she reasons that “there hasn’t been a commercial artist lately that has embodied avant-garde and couture so insistently as myself.”

All I ask is that she includes pants in her line—I still fancy those. Perhaps a more commercial version of that Hello Kitty gown?

Roberto Cavalli at a premiere

“All over the world people don’t treat me like a fashion designer; they treat me like a rock star… I can’t walk down 5th Avenue without being treated like a rock star. In fact, maybe it’s more… Many times I’ve walked down 5th Avenue with rock stars and nobody pays attention to them. It’s very strange.”

Elizabeth Hurley opens up to Harper's BazaarFormer model and actress Elizabeth Hurley admits it’s harder to look good as you get older.

The 44-year-old, who hosted Harper’s Bazaar‘s “Fabulous At Every Age” party in New York last Thursday, says it’s important for women over a certain age to spend more time on their appearance as they need to make more effort to look stunning.

“When you’re older, you have to have your hair cut regularly, you have to pluck your eyebrows regularly, you have to stay slim, and you have to exercise more. So if you don’t give up, you stand out more.”

The Estée Lauder beauty also denied she had undergone plastic surgery to maintain her looks: “Don’t be ridiculous, I look so much more than that and, no, no surgery, not yet. I really don’t have a beauty regime. The only thing I do - obviously - is pluck my eyebrows because I would look like Denis Healey if I didn’t. There is a huge change in your metabolism after 40, and for the first time ever I am having to watch what I eat because I’m quite greedy by nature.”

Lady Gaga dons the iconic red bow

In celebration of Hello Kitty’s 35th birthday, the always-stylish Lady Gaga starred in a very eccentric photo shoot for the famous cat. True to nature, Gaga is pantsless in the images!

Photographed by Markus Klinko and Indrani, Gaga emulates Marilyn Monroe in one photo (seen after the jump) and dons a gown comprised of stuffed Hello Kitty toys atop a majestic throne in another. Fans of the iconic feline and/or the fashionable singer can get their paws on the photos when they appear in a reissue of Gaga’s album The Fame.

As anyone can attest to my Hello Kitty infatuation, even I find the photos fairly creepy (creative nonetheless!).

Tim Burton's take on high fashion

When Halloween is near, why not turn to macabre director Tim Burton to envision a high fashion photo shoot for your magazine?

Well, the folks over at Harper’s Bazaar figured it would be a good idea, especially in light of the filmmaker’s career retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art. Shot by photographer Tim Walker, the eerie shoot recalls images of Burton’s classic characters we’ve come to love over the years—fashion magazine style, that is.

If you look closely enough (more pictures after the jump), you’ll catch the director himself taking a crack at modeling.

Kardashian sistersContinuing on with their entrepreneurial empire, the Kardashian sisters are launching a skincare line.

As well as signing a five-year contract to design clothing for fashion retailer Bebe, the reality family are moving into beauty.

Mum Kris Jenner revealed, “Me and my girls are working on our on skin care line that should be out in the spring.”

Her daughter Kim, 29 - who shot to fame with the family on the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians - will also launch a perfume for beauty store Sephora in February: “I am so excited about my fragrance. The scent took me a long time to perfect and it’s finally here.”

The Kardashian family are not the first celebrities to create their own skin care range. Last year, Heidi Klum launched her line In An Instant, while model Miranda Kerr releases her organic skin care range, Kora, in Australia this week.

Penn Badgley as Dan on Gossip GirlPenn Badgley once wore such a gruesome Halloween costume it made girls avoid him.

The Gossip Girl star, who plays hunky student Dan Humphrey in the teen drama series, says that his scary outfit was such a disaster because nobody wanted to talk to him.

“I was 14 years-old and went to Cinema Secrets, and I got a big old prosthetic scar and blood dripping from my face. It was the worst idea ever because it turned off literally every girl at the party… and I was 14, thinking I was so hot. It was terrible. It was the worst idea I ever had.”

Then again, this is that guy who recently revealed his fondness for an altogether different kind of look - he likes women in men’s clothes: “There is nothing more appealing than when members of the opposite sex look like they have made little effort with their clothes. I like it when they wear a plunging V-neck, which looks like she pulled it off the floor of a man’s bedroom.”

As my mentor Tyra Banks always says, there’s a difference between being a model and a spokesmodel.

In this video for FunnyorDie.com, we get a “behind-the-scenes” look at ‘s work on a Gucci commercial. Although the 31-year-old easily mastered the look, the Columbia University grad student had a bit of difficulty with the language.

Karl Lagerfeld and Claudia Schiffer on set

Shooting on location in Buenos Aires, Karl Lagerfeld and Claudia Schiffer were snapped up by photogs as they shot the Chanel Spring/Summer ‘10 ad campaign.

Lady Gaga on the Gossip Girl set

Fashion-lovers, get ready to set your DVR on The CW for November 16th—Lady Gaga will be strutting her acting chops on Gossip Girl!

The episode, titled “The Last Days of Disco Stick,” features Blair (Leighton Meester) arranging a secret Gaga show. The popstar herself is set to perform her latest single, “Bad Romance” on the small screen.

Meester describes Gaga’s style as “very avant-garde and kind of gothic.” It’s certainly no surprise, considering her crimson costume with outer pastries (above) is reportedly 30 feet long!

Aside from having a vested interest in fashion, Gaga reveals that she had another reason for guest starring: “My little sister is the hugest Gossip Girl fan ever.”
